White Record information found in the Nintendogs instruction manual
The White Record (Japanese: 白レコード Shiro rekōdo) is an item that falls under the category of "Music" in the Supplies. It is a record that the player starts with and cannot sell.
The White Record is used to record messages that will be sent to other players when interacting via Bark Mode. The player can record a ten-second sound file, and the record will keep the data. If a player erases the data, it will not play anything unless the player records onto it again.

Trivia[]
- If someone you met had a White Record message, it will play if you view their Trainer Info.
- If you leave the record on, your message will play on loop, similar to that of any other record.
