Canned Food (Japanese: ウェットフード Wetto fūdo) is a food item in Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of "Care" in the Supplies. It is a circular red can with a striped cat appearing in front of a bowl of food, with the words "Wet Food" above it. It consists of chunks of meat in a meaty gravy.
Canned Food should only be given in moderation, as too much can make a kitten gain weight. It is useful in helping a Skinny or Underfed kitten get back to a healthy weight, however.
Puppies will not eat this food even if they are hungry. There is a dog version instead.

How to Obtain[]
Canned Food can be purchased at the menu BARC for $5 after reaching 850 Owner Points or playing for 6 days. It sells for $2 at the Secondhand Shop.
