But, over the course of 3 days visiting the kennel and at least a cumulative 5 hours spent searching, I did not find the giddy personality once on a Cocker Spaniel. So I eventually settled for someone who had a personality with keywords in the same table category as giddy. Of course she also has the gentle keyword, which supposedly makes them easier to control on walks, which might nullify the whole deal?? BUT her personality is cited on the very bottom of [https://coffiedog.wordpress.com/2020/08/09/nintendogscats-walk-presents-guide/ this] page to be more likely to find rare items on walks, so I'm quite intrigued about ''that''. Interesting that the giddy personality isn't actually in that list . . . perhaps hybriding into the 'Bold, and takes an interest in everything but gets bored quickly' category nullifies that particular benefit? I'm not sure.

There's one walk thing I noticed right away: I went on 2 walks, and of the . . . 5? 6? (I lost track because also watching Dune movie) dogs I saw, every single one of them that Zultura wasn't afraid of (2 of them) invited me to go somewhere. I love me some free teleports. Otherwise, she maybe sniffed around at hydrants/mailboxes a bit longer than I'm used to but didn't pee on any of them, didn't really exclamation point

For tricks/sport stuff, she was able to pick up everything fine. Brought the frisbee back with less name calls than Spetsi did at first; learned lure fine; and only had 1 questionmark the whole time while learning her first 3 tricks . . .when the dishwasher started and made lots of noise, lol. She got 1st place in 5 of 6 comps she entered (one time I royally sucked at disk throwing); so she seems pretty smart and gets along with my other dogs at home. More time and trying to train for higher levels will give me more room for comparison to how the others learned, ofc.

Pre-blog note: I've been thinking that creating a wiki page for Streetpass Presents would be helpful, since some items (all treats, an amount of collars) can be set as a streetpass present, but others (the $35 scarves bought from an on-walk BARC; presumably all furniture) cannot. Would it be most appropriate to gather as much info as possible in like a blog post first before making a page at all, or just make the page and then fill it and a talk page out overtime even if it's bare bones for a little while (unlocking items and learning to format pages)?

That aside,

Today I acquired my third dog! She is a solid golden Cocker Spaniel named Zultura, who is gentle and wags for both friends and strangers. Like the others, she's named after a neopet; this time she's named after my Xbeetok (a bee-themed Xweetok) who has a whole story not-written about her, and as such is wearing the striped black and white collar/ear ribbon combo :proud:. She came as plump; but she has a lot of physical activity in her near future, so I'm not going to bother with diet food unless the extra pounds persist for days.

My third dog was *supposed* to be of the "This giddy little girl simply adores everything around her." personality. I wanted to see if I noticed anything different in walk performance, because the "This spirited little girl has a very sharp mind." personality that my friend adopted was instantly quicker to pick up feedback during walks, compared to his other** dog despite her being months old. And according to this blog's table, giddy is SLOW to pick up tricks/sports while sharp is FAST to do the same thing . . . we took it that walks apparently classified as well, so the giddy/sharp personalities seemed like they'd be the opposite of each other.

**"This naïve young female loves playing with everyone."

BUT her personality is cited on the very bottom of this page to be more likely to find rare items on walks, so I'm quite intrigued about that.

Otherwise, she maybe sniffed around at hydrants/mailboxes a bit longer than I'm used to but didn't pee on any of them. And didn't exclamation point any more or less than Noctena who's This happy girl is fascinated by the world around her.

Speaking of my other dogs, Noctena's won 1st in both the Nintendogs Lure Course and multiple Nintendogs Frisbee Tosses now! Spetsi has unlocked the Nintendogs Lure Coursing as well and can jump both hurdle types with no bird squeaking required. She also learned how to fetch frisbees with no prompting on the 9th day of me having her, which is pretty good! But I don't know what it is with her and disk tournaments . . . she has like stage fright or something, where if I don't wait a good few seconds for her to go and stand in front of me after receiving the frisbee from her, she'll (predictably, every time) just stand there too long before running and miss the frisbee. Vs. Noctena I can grab the frisbee with 0.2 seconds left on the timer, yeet it out there immediately, and score another 11 points. It's pretty frustrating; she was stuck at Pro ranking until just today, even though Noctena is only 3 days older. I do recall some other blogger saying their "This bounding female just loves to run and jump" dog was fairly difficult to train, though.

And . . . no one's gone past Pro in Obedience. No fault of their's, I just haven't bothered to teach "Butterfly!" (cheer) or "Allergy Season" (sneeze) yet.
