In Nintendogs, the Red Leather Collar is available for purchase at the beginning of the game. It costs $10 at Pet Supply and sells for $4 at the Secondhand Shop.
In Nintendogs + Cats, it is exclusive to Toy Poodle & New Friends and can be bought at Coletta for $12. In other versions, it can be obtained from StreetPass or the Pedometer after 4,000-4,999 steps. It sells for $5 at the Secondhand Shop.
