The Hoop (Japanese: フープ Fūpu) is an item in Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of "Sports" in the Supplies. It is a Novice Flying Disc that has the look of a striped blue hoop. It is one of four Novice Discs, the others being the Lollipop Disc, Pot Lid, and Pizza Disc.
This disc can be thrown farther and higher than Basic Discs. It is very useful if a puppy needs a disc faster than the Basic Disc but can't catch a Pro Disc, making it a good choice for the Amateur Cup in Disc Competitions.
