Diet Food (Japanese: ダイエットフード Daiettofūdo) is a food item in Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of "Care" in the Supplies. It comes in a blue box with the words "Diet Food" appearing over a Shetland Sheepdog's head. When served, the food appears multicolored, with shades of both light and dark brown.  It starts out served in a wooden bowl, unlike regular food, which is first served in a metal bowl. The player can change what bowl the food is served in.
