The Blue Flying Disc (Japanese: ディスク (青) Disuku (ao)) is an item in Nintendogs and Nintendogs + Cats that falls under the category of "Sports" in the Supplies. It is a blue Basic disc with "Flying Disc" engraved in a black outline in recursion. Nintendo's logo is engraved in the center.
In Nintendogs + Cats, it has a completely different logo with no text. It instead pictures a cartoonish dog face on a yellow circle in the middle of a ring of stars.

- Nintendogs:
(Home): "Touch the disc with your stylus and slide it from bottom to top to toss the disc in the air."
(Secondhand Shop): "This toy is great for play in wide-open areas. The basic model comes in three colors." - Nintendogs + Cats: "This basic disc is great for practicing straight throws."
How to Obtain[]
- In Nintendogs, the Blue Flying Disc is available for purchase at the beginning of the game and costs $6 at Pet Supply. It is also available at the Discount Shop, and since prices vary with each visit, it can range from $3-$6. It sells for $2.40 at the Secondhand Shop.
- In Nintendogs + Cats, the Blue Flying Disc is exclusive to Golden Retriever & New Friends and can be purchased at the menu BARC for $16. It sells for $7 at the Secondhand Shop.
